In the past, loose surfaces and standing water would strike fear into our hearts as the car was just not connected well enough to know where we were going to end up! Extending the wheelbase has been a big job but well worth it in terms of the added confidence that it gives. The new Ohlins suspension has been set up at Aurok and it really shows.
We did suffer a few cracked panels, ripped off the mudflaps, scarred the sills and filled the car with muddy water BUT - nothing broke! So, apart from a serious valet and changing the rear bumper (mashed when I went backwards through the bushes!), Scott shouldn't have too many dramas with the car before the rally at Colerne in Wiltshire next weekend.
